The kids, who had been laughing at him, made their way to the tables of food beyond the set. David, however, had not. He remained on the set with him, still chuckling.
"You're enjoying this too much."
That comment sent David into a bout of laughter. "Yes... yes, I am." He smirked and asked, "You wear grandmother clothes very well. Have any practice---"
"Why I oughta---"
David grinned and approached him. "Just be thankful I'm not taking a picture."
Alan snorted. "The whole world's going to see this get-up after the film's released."
"True. Be thankful, then, I'm waiting that long for your premier as the world's sexiest nanna."
After that comment, Alan glared. David ducked his head and smiled. "At least Gary's not here," he reasoned quietly.
Alan's stern expression softened as much as his features and make up would allow. "Next time I have to dress up like a woman," he said in a similarly quiet voice. "You can pick the outfit."
David grinned and glanced around the set. Too many people were around -- Alan was almost thankful that the crew was still there, because he knew what that wolfish look in David's eyes meant.
(It was the kind of look that made it difficult to remember they were playing characters that hated each other.)
